We were greeted by warm and helpful staff, who proved to be extremely knowledgeable about the area.

PLANET-CONSCIOUS INITIATIVES

Daintree Ecolodge share our love for the planet, as evidenced by their many sustainability initiatives.
They recycle 100% of their water, have an onsite herb and veggie patch which provides their chefs with a constant supply of fresh produce for guest meals.
And, all organic waste is composted or fed to local livestock- just to name a few!

THE ROOMS

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, all nestled amongst the canopy of the world’s oldest living rainforest.
The rooms all feature screened balconies overlooking the beautiful grounds. We were gently lulled to sleep by bird, insect and frog calls.

NATURE & SURROUNDS

The Daintree Rainforest is the world’s oldest living rainforest, estimated to be over 165 million years old.
The 1,200 square kilometres of tropical rainforest is home to tens of thousands of species, many of which are unique to the Daintree Rainforest.
We were lucky enough to spot a graceful cassowary making its way across the grounds.

As into activities as us? Whether you’re a foodie, a nature enthusiast, or luxury lover (or all of the above!), Daintree Ecolodge offers an extensive array of things to do.
Activities include bird watching, snorkeling, diving, horse riding, spa treatments, indigenous art workshops, rainforest walks.. we’ll definitely be returning to cross a few more off the list!
